Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That company processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email or other direct message as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless the law requires disclosure to someone else.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive basic technical information about the visit:
- Page-view times and the pages visited
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- The referring site, when available
- Time spent on viewed pages
- The device's assigned IP address
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. We use them with analytics services to measure traffic patterns, such as popular pages and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may cause parts of the site to work in a different way.
What We Do With This Data
- Routing a search query to the selected partner
- Finding and repairing technical faults
- Measuring which pages are useful or need improvement
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not keep, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Sabine County guidance identifies official custodians such as the sheriff, court clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a record about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention rules, and sharing practices apply to information submitted through their tools. We do not control those practices. Read the provider's policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff, court, Texas agency, legal aid, or third-party search pages. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's own privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their systems to follow activity across sites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be disclosed to:
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and site performance
- Search partners processing a query submitted to their tool
- Advertising networks placing content on these pages
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for data in our care. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor supplied information, we will delete it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with residence and applicable law. Texas Government Code Chapters 552 and 411 govern access to government information and criminal-history dissemination, not all data held by a private website. At a minimum, you may:
- Request deletion of personal data we retain
- Ask for a copy of personal information held about you
- Seek correction of inaccurate personal information
- Object to certain forms of processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. An updated version will appear here with its new effective date, so visitors can review the current practices.
